IMDB rating: 4.90

Plot: On the day of their anniversary, workaholic and real estate agent Jim Evers and his wife Sara receive a strange phone call from a man called Ramsley. He requests that Sara come to the mysterious Gracey Manor. Jim decides to turn it into an opportunity to check out a possible gold-mine in real estate, but to please Sara, he claims it is a “family trip”, bringing the kids along. Once there, Ramsley the butler insists that they stay, for a big storm is on the way. The Evers are introduced to Master Gracey, who seems strangely obsessed with Sara. Jim goes off to talk to Gracey about selling, but ends up in a secret passage instead. The kids follow a floating ball to the attic, where they see a painting of a woman who looks just like Sara! Jim and the kids eventually discover the mansion’s dark secret from Madame Leota, a talking head in a crystal ball. She tells them that Sara is in danger and to save her, they must “lead the ghosts to the light.” After some spooky adventures and surprises, the family manages to save the manor and Sara, all while learning a valuable lesson about togetherness.

MK:
splash, space, and thunder mountain
buzz lightyear
haunted mansion
peter pans flight
philharmagic?
pirates of the carribean
carousel of progress

AK:
expidition everest
primevil whirl
dinosaur
kali river rapids
safari

Epcot:
Soarin
Test track
world showcase

HS:
rockin roller coaster
tower of terror
star tours
toy story mania
american idol?
great movie ride?

plus we want to go to downtown disney…what do you think we should do in only three days? how should we plan?

Don’t plan anything. Only plan what you must. To have a better time, leave it all to chance. On each day, spend some time at Disney and the other half of the day exploring the city. If the teen is old enough to go off on their own, have them be within a certain distance and have a cell phone so you guys can do your own thing and the teen can do their own. Or if the teen isn’t old enough, take turns showing them around Disney.
Have fun!

disney quest is fun…like 5 stories of games of all kinds,,I think it’s downtown disney…and it’s cost each person to get in…but for All ages.
We are going to take the backlot tour in HS,they say its about 45 min.
long but good. I don’t think a 14 yr.old wants to do anything there by herself..if she had a friend it would be fun.
my daughter said the test track wasn’t that great.
Be sure and take the space ride? I think it goes to mars and back..not for the squeamish. The carousel of progress is sort of boring, I guess it was there since the place was built…I want to see it’s small world,I missed it last time. We are going at thanksgiving, we won’t be there for the Mickeys Christmas, but they say that is really kool! It’s also extra cost…yea,,,I think mr.disney is turning in his grave at the prices disney charges.Plan on dropping a $100+/day inside disney!

If you want to hit all those rides, here’s how I’d recommend doing it. Spend one day each at Magic kingdom and Hollywood studios, that way you’ll definitely make it on all the rides you want to do. Finally split the last day between Epcot and Animal Kingdom. That may not leave you much time for the world showcase, but it’s kind of boring anyway. If you have extra time on one day, or want a break from rushing around the park, that’s when you can go to downtown Disney.

The first question is if you have the Park Hopper option on your tickets. If not then you will only be able to 3 of the 4 theme parks(1 per day). In this case even though I would normally say you should drop Animal Kingdom, if that is all you must do in EPCOT perhaps that would be the one to drop without a Park Hopper.

Are you staying On-Property(one of the Disney Resorts). If so you can take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours. This gets you either into the a park one hour early, or lets you stay in a park up to 3 hours later after regular closing. They usually have one park in the morning and another park in the evening.

You can walk through downtown Disney in a couple of hours, but if you are going to really shop and look around you could easily spend at least a half a day.

That list of Must Do’s is actually not that bad figuring you do have the Park Hopper tickets, and don’t have Extra Magic Hours available to you.

I would do Magic Kingdom in one day. The second Day I would do Animal Kingdom(morning) and EPCOT Afternoon. Normally EPCOT could take 2 days, but if you only want to do those attractions and not really worry about the shows in World Showcase you can do it in a few hours. The third day I would do HS in the Morning/Early Afternoon. Then either go through Downtown Disney or back to one of the other parks just in case you didn’t get everything in, or you found something else you wanted to do.
